Solar Warden is one of the Secret Space layer's most-named artifacts: the alleged code name of a covert fleet said to patrol the solar system, protecting Earth and enforcing the secrecy the rest of the layer describes.
What is actually documented
The verifiable part is a real legal case. British hacker Gary McKinnon genuinely broke into U.S. military and NASA systems around 2001–02 and faced extradition; he later said he saw references to "non-terrestrial officers" and fleet-to-fleet transfers. The intrusion is documented fact. What he claims to have seen is not corroborated and cannot be checked.
How the map holds it
From one hacker's recollection the lore grew into ship names, rosters, and mission histories — detail far exceeding the evidence. The map keeps the documented core (a real hack, real extradition fight) and marks the fleet itself as unverified testimony, kin to the Dark Fleet and ICC claims that share its SSP mythology.
The hack was real; the fleet remains a claim resting on memory alone. The map holds the name without mistaking it for the ship.
